How Palworld breeding works in one minute
Every Pal has a hidden breeding power. Two different parents average their numbers and hatch the Pal whose own number is closest, unless the pair is one of the fixed combos. Level and stats do not change which species you get.
That is why a rare Pal usually needs two rare parents, and why some Pals have exactly one recipe. The 136 fixed combos and the 183 Pals in the formula’s generic pool are all listed in these tools.

Frequently asked questions
Where should I start with Palworld breeding?
Start with the breeding calculator. Pick the Pal you want in the “Child → Parents” tab, then choose a parent you already own to narrow the list to pairs you can actually make.
Are these tools updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. The data comes from the 1.0.x game files and was refreshed on 2026-09-30. Passive skills and the 1.0 mutation chance are not modelled yet.
Can I trust the results?
Each release is checked against all 44,851 pair results in the community PalCalc dataset. If you find a result that differs in game, please tell us.
