Where this chart comes from

The strong and weak links are the ones two independent published type charts agree on. The Palworld Wiki lists a few extra links that are not mirrored in the other direction, so we did not use them until they can be confirmed. Pal elements come from the Palworld Wiki (CC BY-SA 4.0). We show no damage multiplier on purpose. Full notes are on the methodology page. Last checked 2026-09-30.

Frequently asked questions

How many elements are there in Palworld?

There are nine elements: Neutral, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Ice, Ground, Dark and Dragon. Some Pals have two elements.

What beats Dragon and what beats Dark?

Ice is strong against Dragon, and Dragon is strong against Dark. Dark is strong against Neutral. Each strength has a matching weakness in the other direction.

Why does this chart not show a damage multiplier?

Published sources disagree on the exact number (some say 1.5 times, others 2 times), and we have not been able to confirm it from the game files. We show only which element is strong or weak against which, because sources agree on that.

How do I read a Pal with two elements?

The lookup lists each element separately. We do not combine them into a single multiplier because we cannot yet verify how the game stacks two elements.
